The CIRCOGRAPH DA from Institut Dr. Foerster GmbH & Co. KG, Germany has set a new standard in non-destructive eddy current testing of long products like tubes, rods and wire. The CIRCOGRAPH DA offers maximum reproducibility at very high test speeds & is equipped with state-of-the-art digital electronics. The sophisticated system architecture enables the instrument to display surface defects both as a test signal and as a two-dimensional C-scan, offering new possibilities for quality monitoring in the production process. Due to its modular design, the system is easily expandable and ensures flexibility in the face of ever-changing test requirements. Because the test signals are digitized very close to the sensor in the TEST SYSTEM DA, the analog paths have been reduced to a minimum & this significantly reduces noise interference. The graphical user interface of the CIRCOGRAPH DA enables intuitive and safe operation of all essential instrument functions.
The new product generation CIRCOGRAPH DA enables displaying of the test signals as a C-Scan. The signal sequence is shown as the sum signal over the distance. The defect position is displayed in the longitudinal direction. Additionally, in the C-Scan view, the signals are now also displayed in the circumferential position. The operator is thus given a better overview of where and, above all, how the defect propagates on the material surface.
