Over the years we have developed expertise in solving standard applications as well as finding customize solutions to meet specific test requirements. Package of test electronics or turn key solutions are provided along with training and consultancy for the specific application. Combination of NDT methods are offered to find complete solution. COMPONENT TESTING


ULTRASONIC PISTON BOND TESTING EQUIPMENT

Ultrasonic Piston Bond Tester is a fully automatic on-line equipment specially for checking lack of bond between the ring and piston body of a ring carrier piston. Length of the Lack of Bond & Adjustable Acceptance/Rejection Criteria, through Microprocessor Controller is integrated.


ULTRASONIC SHELL TESTING SYSTEM

This Testing System is an 8 channel Ultrasonic Immersion Testing System for testing of hollow shell body for detection of manufacturing defects. Automatic monitoring of the test results, Automatic sorting of the Shells as per the set acceptance or rejection standards & Test result print out with defect details are the main features. Test Mechanism are fully automatic with robotic arm mechanism.



KNUCKLE TESTING SYSTEM

Ultrasonic Immersion Test System is integrated on-line in a foundry manufacturing steering knuckles. This system uses up to 12 Probes for detecting internal defects.

Additional set of Probes are integrated for measuring the velocity, for grain size measurement (nodularity).



AUTOMOTIVE AXLE TESTING SYSTEM

Purpose of this machine is to check for defects in the butt welding of L.A. tube & the Rear axle housing. System is based on ultrasonic non-destructive testing principal. It uses pulse echo, A scan, immersion mode of inspecrtion. Adequate safety features & interlocks have been provided to ensure smoother running & repeatability.


AUTOMATIC ULTRASONIC SYSTEM FOR PRECISION TUBES

The System is designed for fully automatic operation at high test speed using immersion technique for inspection of precision zircalloy seamless tubes which are used in Nuclear Reactors. The system detects defects in the order of 0.04mm depth at surface speed of 2500 mm per sec. with repeatability and stable operation. This high performance system uses specially developed system components. The System integrates dimension measurement for wall thickness and diameter. A P.C. is used for tracking the tube and recording the test data. A range of customized test reports are generated. The system includes strip chart recorder, true to location marking and programmable sorting in 3 categories.


WELDED PIPE TESTING - SAW / ERW

The system is used for testing Spiral/Longitudinal weld seams of SAW & ERW Pipes for detection of longitudinal and transverse weld defects. The system is designed for automatic operation with a paint marking facility to mark the defective area of the weld. A test report will be printed after each pipe is tested. Pipe under test travels under probe boom and alternatively the probes can traverse the stationary pipe surface to scan the entire length of the weld. The Probes holding mechanism is customized to suit the pipe mill requirements. Automatic weld seam tracking system is provided on the probe boom to center the weld seam, at a fixed distance from the probes. A P.C. or an Microprocessor is provided for defect logging and printing of test report.

This system is designed to meet the requirements of several weld test specifications in general and in particular the API specification requirements. Inspection in heat effected zone and in areas near the weld are optionally tested by integrating additionally scanning probes. Optionally pipe body test for lamination is integrated with suitable test mechanism. Reliable test operations are achieved and confirmed by coupling monitoring features integrated into the test electronics.


4 CHANNEL IMMERSION
ULTRASONIC TUBE TEST SYSTEM

It is used for detecting longitudinally and transversally oriented defects. The tube under test passes through a column of water in the immersion tank. Probe manipulator takes reference from the tube surface, which ensures repeatability of test results. Full automatic tube transport mechanism with PLC control, paint marking of defect areas and automatic sorting of accepted, partially accepted and rejected tubes is integrated. Optionally, wall thickness measurement can be integrated for measuring wall thickness and detecting laminar defects


Plate Testing System


The system is an 32 Channel Ultrasonic Plate Testing System for testing of plates for detection of lamination and other manufacturing defects which are oriented parallel to the test surface. The system is designed with an P.L.C. for automatic operation with a paint marking facility to mark along the linear edge of the plate corresponding to the defective area of the Plate. A test report will be printed after each Plate is tested.

This system is designed to meet the requirements of several plate test specifications like ASTM 435, BS 5996, SEL 072 etc.


24 CHANNEL OCT TUBULAR
TEST SYSTEM

It is used for casing and drilling pipes, tubular products inspection. A 24 channel equipment detects longitudinal and transverse oriented defects as well as monitors wall thickness of tubular products used in the oil field sector. Due to the large size range of the pipes and its weight, contact testing is used. Specially designed probes ensure overlap and full coverage. The system can be integrated alongwith other NDT techniques like EMI.




Copper Rod Testing System


The system detects the defects in the cross section of the over head copper rods (conductor) during the initial rod & finished conductor stages. Defects like porosities, inclusions, cracks, surface & sub surface dis-continuities can be detected. A set of probes to suit individual curvatures of the rods enable to carry out manual contact test for confirmation of defects and/or further investigation.

 


Universal Immersion Testing System

The Ultrasonic Immersion Testing Tank is suitable for testing a variety of jobs. Adjustable Probe Manipulator to cover a wide variety of test objects and test mode, Tail stock arrangement for centering longer length components, Rotary table arrangement to test round objects with drive control, High precision components to ensure normal working over long use are the main features.


Eddy Current Testing System


We have integrated and supplied Systems for the following applications:

1) On line Rail Inspection by rotating probes and edge coil.

2) On line Copper Rod & Conductors Inspection with through coil.

3) Seamless tubes Inspection with rotating probes and through coil.

4) Welded pipes with segment coil.
