Introduction
Testing rails and welded rail joints for manufacture and fatigue defects, the truly dependable rail tester is PI-SRT-01.

The PI-SRT-01 is specially engineered to suit the harsh site environment. Its light but sturdy tubular frame is designed to accommodate the Ultrasonic Flaw Detector, Battery Pack, Tools, Water Container, Paint Bottles and a set of Probes.

Two angular probes 70 deg. & 37 deg., each consisting of Forward and Reverse probes in a common housing, scan the head and bolt hole area respectively. One 0 deg. normal probe scan the head, web and web-foot junction. The sensitivity of these probes are individually set from a common junction box.

Our unique optional Strip Chart Recorder model UTR 4 AD coupled to the Ultrasonic-Flaw Detector enables to obtain a hard copy of the trace pattern.

Against your specific requirement, PI-SRT-01 can also be supplied with choice of probes -for manual inspection of rails, rail crossing and rail joints formed by thermit, gas pressure or flash butt welding process
