GAUGE FACE CORNER DEFECTS ULTRASONIC RAIL TESTER

Light weight, portable & robust in construction rail tester.
Capable to detect gauge face corner flaws, other transverse flaws and piping defects in rail head. Discontinuity in welded joints in rail head and any horizontal defects in rail head.
Capable of operating both in single & double crystal mode simultaneously or independently.
Provided 0? , 70? (F&B) 45? probe with special gadgets.
Easy to operate , application and handle.
Reliable in good workmanship and trouble free performance.
UFD capable of swiveling by horizontally and vertically for easy viewing by operator.
Having 99 sets of calibration memory.
Setting of all parameters can be locked .
Complete rail tester can be accommodated in a carrying box.
Training on operation of equipment and testing technique will be in parted by firm while supply the of equipments.

TECHNICAL DATA

Frequency Range: 0.5 to 15 MHz by wide band amplifier.

Test Range: 0-50mm min., 0-500mm Max., 2 step coarse selection and continuous variable fine selection.

Linearity: Horizontal - 1% / Vertical - 5%

Sensitivity: Variable in 1dB step from 0to 99 dB

Suppression: Linear type. Continuous variable between 0 to 100% full screen height. Visual indication when active.

Pulse Damping: Selectable values 1K?, 150?, 100? & 47?
                            LED indication of selected value.

Monitor: Gate start, Gate Width controllable between 1 div. To full screen width & gate threshold variable between 10 to 100% full screen height. Audio & Visual Alarm, Gate Search & OFF selection. Audio alarm mute available.

CRT: 70 x 55 mm screen with internal graticule. Bright display, free from distortion & parallax error. 10 x10 main divisions, each with small sub-divisions.

Digital Display: 2 digit 7 segment LED to display to indicate –
                              a) Gate threshold, suppression in 1 to 10 steps corresponding approximately to 10 to 100 % F.S.H.
                              b) Gain in dB, in 1 dB step.
                              c) Memory set no. 1 to 99.

Pulse Delay: Range dependent, min.200mm & max.3 m on 250mm & 1 m range

Keyboard: Functional sealed touch control for all parameters.
                  Visual indication of selected parameter.
                  “Smart Knob” for function value change, to get the analogue feel.

Calibration Memory: 99 sets. All parameters can be stored in memory.

Lock: Setting for all parameters can be locked.

Test Method: Pulse Reflection or Pulse Transmission.

Power Supply: Plug-in battery pack type BAT 10 with rechargeable dry cells providing up to 3 hours continuous operation.
